The Omega Shot (オメガショット Omegashotto?) is an attack used by E-123 Omega in Sonic the Hedgehog (2006). When using this technique, Omega shoots his foes with pellets.

When performing Omega Shot, Omega loads his right forearm and opens up for the artillery in it, revealing several gun barrels. He then fires a yellow spray of pellets powerful enough to blow away anything in close range ahead of him while reeling back from the shot.[1][2]

When performing Omega Shot in gameplay, the player can attack close-up enemies, but it cannot hit enemies over long distances, unlike the Lock-On Shot. To use Omega Shot in gameplay, the player has to quickly press PSSquareButton/XboxX.

  • In Sonic the Hedgehog: Official Game Guide, an error says that the Omega Shot uses homing lasers to attack foes instead of pellets.
