Omen from Sonic the Comic #95. Art by Nigel Dobbyn.

Omen is a character that appears in the Sonic the Comic series published by Fleetway Editions. He is a magician and the rival of Ebony. He wears a yellow costume and mask, vaguely resembling the garb of feudal samurai, as well as a ponytail and drooping moustache. He is a brown-furred, anthropomorphic mouse. In addition to incredible magical powers, he is also highly agile and acrobatic. He has an unspecified history with Ebony, and is arrogantly confident that he is the superior magician.

Omen was sent by Robotnik, along with two gorilla henchmen to stop a protest to protect the Ancient Trees in the Metropolis Zone park, led by his rival Ebony and her friend Pyjamas. He immediately clashed with Ebony, apparently not even recognising Knuckles the Echidna, who was also present. He and Ebony were initially evenly matched, until one of his associates destroyed the Elder Tree, causing the other Ancient Trees to angrily grow a forest around them in mere moments.[1]

Omen took advantage of the distraction, binding Ebony in a new spell that he had perfected as his henchmen pinned down Knuckles and the other protesters. Omen believed that he was victorious, even scoffing at the notion that the Ancient Trees could take over planet Mobius, until he and his henchmen were grabbed by the Trees' branches and thrown out of the park.[2]
