Orb-Bot is a character that appears in the Sonic the Hedgehog comic series and its spin-offs published by Archie Comics. They are security robots created by Dr. Robotnik.

Appearence

The Orb-Bots are gigantic in size and equipped with twin lasers.

History

Sally Acorn, Geoffrey St. John, Arlo the Armadillo, Hamlin, Dylan Porcupine and Penelope Platypus encountered two of these Orb-Bots while trying to take down one of Robotropolis's power stations. Sally Acorn managed to take one of them down by tying its leg with cable to a metal hold, causing the robot to fall over. The next one survived for longer and followed Sally and her group out of the exploding power station, but was destroyed when it fell into a ridge.
