The Parabolic Inverter[1] is an object that appears in the Sonic Underground television series. It is a ray gun invented by Lionel.

Description

Appearance

The Parabolic Inverter is a yellow-brown ray can with a head shaped like that of a satellite dish. It is not much larger than a fist.

Features and traits

The Parabolic Inverter shoots out purple rays of energy that will immobilize the targets they hit for a few minutes. Its effects also appear to render its targets brittle, as Manic and Sonia were able to break a metal rope affected by the Parabolic Inverter.[1]

History

The Parabolic Inverter was invented by Lionel. Because of his capabilities, it was desired by Dr. Robotnik. In order to gain their trust and learn more about Sanctuary, Cyrus used the Parabolic Inverter to save a captured Sonia and Manic.[1]
