The Penguinator is a character that appears in the Sonic the Comic series published by Fleetway Editions. It is a mass-produced, penguin-based Badnik model created by Dr. Ivo Robotnik that was stationed in the Ice Cap Zone.[1]
History[]
Having been brought to the Ice Cap Zone by Dr. Ivo Robotnik, the Penguinators were mobilized for a surprise invasion of the Hill Top Zone on Christmas day using gateways made by Robotnik's Inter-Zone technology. There, the Freedom Fighters kept the Penguinators at bay while Sonic went to the Ice Cap Zone and destroyed the Inter-Zone technology with Knuckles' aid, the two blasting through more Penguinator guards in the process.[1][2]
Over time, Penguinators who failed to stop Sonic were melted down to be repurposed.[3]
Powers and abilities[]
Unlike their organic template, the Penguinators are capable of flight.[1]
