Police Officers are the primary law enforcement of Earth, mostly seen in the Sonic X anime series.
Police Officers appear in Sonic Adventure, and Sonic X where they attempt to shoot at A liquid creature but the bullets render useless and they are forced to retreat, until Sonic the Hedgehog arrives at the scene.

They also appear frequently in the anime series Sonic X. In the first episode Chaos Control Freaks, they come when Sonic arrived in their dimension, they attempt to capture him and take him to the station, but Sonic resists. So the police try various attempts to capture him. The attempts failed, so they try to put up a road block but Sonic jumps over the whole road block. Eventually, they call in Sam Speed and the Speed Team to catch Sonic. In the third episode Missile Wrist Rampage, the chief of police orders the officers to shoot E-23 Missile Wrist then a officer throws fire on the robot with a flame-thrower and another police chief tries to surrender Dr. Eggman but he fires the robot to the police cars and the chief with the officer then they summon the Mayor of the City but, it all fails: Missile Wrist shoots the officers and the Mayor and another police chief. In the episode "Shadow Knows", helicopters and police cars arrive at the scene and arrest Sonic. In the episode "Sunblock Solution", they try to arrest Sonic but fail. In the episode "Prize Fights", they try to arrest Decoe and Bocoe but they escape and the Police Officers chase them.
