Professor Caninestein is a dog who invents things to help Sonic.

He was voiced by Gary Chalk.

HistoryEdit

A highly intellegent scienctist, Professor Caninestein was kidnapped by Dr. Robotnik and forced to build a time machine that would allow him to travel back in time and collect the four magical Chaos Emeralds. Horrified by what he had done, Caninestein sought out Sonic the Hedgehog. He provided Sonic with his own means of time travel (time shoes, a time skateboard, and a "time warp boogie board"), allowing Sonic to go back in time and thwart Robotnik's plans.

Caninestein also assisted Sonic in the Mobius 5000 drag race, providing Sonic with a car powerful enough to win. He subsequently joined Sonic and Tails on the racing circuit, assisting them all the way to first place. Following this, Caninestein attended, or at the very least attempted to attend Sonic's birthday party, before the event was sabotaged by Dr. Robotnik.
