Project Hodge Pudge

Dr. Eggman reviewing Project Hodge Podge, from Sonic Boom #6.

Project Hodge Podge is a subject mentioned in the Sonic Boom comic series published by Archie Comics. It is an enigmatic project created by Dr. Eggman. Its true purpose and ultimate goal are unclear, though it involves using Team Sonic's bio-data for one of Eggman's machines.[1]

Archie Comics

To get the data for Project Hodge Podge, Dr. Eggman staged the Go-kart Pan-island Grand Prix, in which Team Sonic participated. During the race, Eggman's Bio-scanning Who-za-ma-whats-its hidden on the go-karts copied the data of Sonic, Tails, Knuckles and Amy in secret. With the data downloaded onto his severs, Eggman was able to proceed with the project.[1]

  • "Hodge-podge" is a term used to describe a confused or disorderly mass or collection of things. This may be a reference to how Dr. Eggman plans to use Team Sonic's collective data in one machine.
  • Dr. Eggman copying the data from living beings for his machines is similar to what Neo Metal Sonic did to the protagonists in Sonic Heroes to become Metal Overlord.
