Reverse Block 1 (リバースブロック 1 Ribāsuburokku 1?) is the sixth and final secret stage in Sonic Forces. It is unlocked after clearing Null Space and is playable only as the Avatar.

Overview

Reverse Block 1 takes place in Metropolitan Highway. The majority of the course through the secret stage leads through a maze made up of unbreakable Containers.

Gameplay

Reverse Block 1 is played entirely from a 2.5D side-scrolling perspective. In terms of layout, this secret stage is mostly a straight path with several twists and turns. The details of the level layout may vary however.

Much of Reverse Block 1 is made up of transparent yellow blocks, which are the main gimmick of this secret stage. These reverse blocks can be destroyed with any of the Avatar's attacks and most of the Wispons' basic attack (not including the Void Wispon's). However, the blocks will respawn in the same position a few seconds after their destruction.

In some cases, the player has to destroy the reverse blocks in order to move on. In other cases, the player is obligated to use them as platforms.

Description

When beginning Reserve Block 1, go down the shaft on the right and follow the path from there to the bottom of the secret stage. Once there, use the reverse blocks to climb up towards the Spring that is positioned just below this section's ceiling. Use that Spring to enter the closed-off room above. There, the player has to destroy all the present Egg Pawns in order to open up the entrance to a passage in the upper left corner of the room. Enter this passage and follow the path from there until the Avatar arrives at the goal.
