Description
Edit
The Rhythm Badge is a purple badge adorned with three purple and white feathers on the lower half. When worn, it upgrades Tails' Tail Swipe to the Rapid Tails Attack, which is a chain of Tail Swipes. Finding this upgrade is needed for Tails to leave the Adventure Field where it is located.
Location
Edit
The Rhythm Badge's location is somewhat unique in the Sonic series, as it is found in the Mystic Ruins's Adventure Field in the ancient past, during the time of the Knuckles Clan.
After Tails catches Froggy in Sand Hill, he is transported by Tikal to the Mystic Ruins 4,000 years prior to the game, the place where the Rhythm Badge is located and is needed to return to the present. To find the Rhythm Badge, head up the stairs to the left, and the Rhythm Badge can be found between the wall and the tall pillar.

Trivia
Edit
- The Rhythm Badge is the only upgrade in the Sonic Series that can be obtained in an area you cannot visit again.
- A good question to think about is how the Knuckles Clan would ever use the Rhythm Badge, since Tails used it to enhance his Tail Swipe. The Knuckles Clan didn't have tails like Tails does.
