The Ring Attack[1] is a move that was meant to appear in Sonic-16. It is a technique where Sonic the Hedgehog attacks with a Power Ring.

Description[]

When performing the Ring Attack, Sonic grabs a Power Ring and throws it at his opponents in a straight, linear line. In gameplay, this attack can damage enemies from afar. However, it appears to be weaker than the Spike Blast, as it takes two hits for Sonic to take out one enemy with the Ring Attack.[1]
