To activate Ring Time in gameplay, the player must press /.
To unlock Ring Time, the player can buy it at the Skill Shop for 3500 points after clearing the Ring Time Challenge. It can only be equipped to Classic Sonic and costs 60 Skill Points to be equipped. The music that plays when using Ring Time is the Special Stage theme from Knuckles' Chaotix.
