Robonicles[1] are objects that appear in the Sonic X comic series published by Archie Comics. They are a line of toys based off of robots that are sold on Earth.

Description

The Robonicles is a toy line of robot-like toys. As such, they vary in appearance, though some appear to have eggs-shaped bodies with thin limbs.

History

Archie Comics

A big fan of the Robonicles, Chris took his friends to the Toys for Us store to buy more models, only to go to Alexander Pell's lab instead. However, Sonic the Hedgehog and Miles "Tails" Prower would force Chuck Thorndyke to buy a massive amount of Robonicles for Chris when they rampaged through the toystore during a battle with Dr. Eggman, damaging them and having the manager pay for what they broke.[1]

At the same time, Eggman would use the design of the Robonicles to build mecha suits for him and his minions.[1]

Trivia

  • The Robonicles are likely based on the Bionicle toyline.
