Robot Butler from Sonic the Comic #103. Art by Roberto Corona and colour by Nigel Dobbyn.

The Robot Butler is a character that appears in the Sonic the Comic series published by Fleetway Editions. It was originally one of Doctor Robotnik's Troopers which was destroyed and subsequently rebuilt from scratch by handyman Roger Bodge.

The "Butler" had one of its arms replaced by a teapot, was given a bow-tie, and was painted "a lovely shade of marigold". It also has a large, monocle-like lens on its right eye, although it may have had this feature before being rebuilt.

Although Roger believed he had completely reprogrammed the robot and that it was safe, its old programming nevertheless kicked back in when it saw Sonic the Hedgehog. It attacked Sonic, but instead of killing him it offered him a cup of tea. However, the conflicting instructions from its old and new programming caused it to go haywire and self-destruct, taking Bodge's house along with it.[1]
