This move exists primarily or exclusively within the Pre-Super Genesis Wave continuity.
Information in this article may not be canonical to the storyline of the games or any other Sonic continuity.
For the version of this move after the Super Genesis Wave, see Rolling Combo (Archie).

The Rolling Combo is a technique that appears in the Sonic the Hedgehog comic series and its spin-offs. When using this move, Sonic and Tails join together to perform a larger and stronger Sonic Spin.

Description

When using the Rolling Combo, Sonic and Tails join hands as they each use the Sonic Spin. As the two circle around each other, they form a combined Spin Dash resembling a yin-yang formation, but with much greater power and size than a regular Spin Dash.

History

Sonic and Tails first used this move to attack Akhlut when the orca and his pod ambushed them and their allies in the undersea tunnels in the Northern Tundra.[1]
