Sega Smash Pack

Sega Smash Pack is a series of game compilations featuring mostly Sega Genesis games. Sega Smash Pack games have been released for the PC, Sega Dreamcast, and the Game Boy Advance. All of these compilations contain one Sonic the Hedgehog series title and feature him on the cover as the official SEGA mascot.

2 volumes of Sega Smash Pack have been released on the PC. The first Sega Smash Pack was released on February 1st 1999. Sega Smash Pack 2 was released on January 1st 2000.
Sega Smash Pack contains the following games:
- Altered Beast
- Columns
- Golden Axe
- Out Run
- Phantasy Star II
- Sonic the Hedgehog Spinball
- The Revenge of Shinobi
- Vectorman
Sega Smash Pack 2 contains the following games:
- Comix Zone
- Flicky
- Kid Chameleon
- Sega Swirl
- Shining Force
- Sonic the Hedgehog 2
- Super Hang-On
- Vectorman 2

Sega Smash Pack was released on the Sega Dreamcast on January 31st 2001. The game lineup is slightly different from the PC version. Sega Swirl was added which was originally on Sega Smash Pack 2 and Sonic the Hedgehog (16-bit) was added along with 3 other Genesis games that were new to the Smash Pack compilations. Oddly, Sonic Spinball is the only game from the PC version, not included in this compilation.

Nintendo's Game Boy Advance has its own Sega Smash Pack compilation which was released on December 9th 2002 and contains three classic Genesis games. One of these games (Ecco the Dolphin) was never before featured in any other Smash Pack.
