Directory, Sonic Unleashed

Samia (ゼーナ Zēna?) is a character that appears in Sonic Unleashed. She is a human resident of Shamar and the younger sister of Yasmine. While Samia loves Yasmine, she is often made a part of her sister's many bad ideas regarding her "peace enforcement" team.

History

PS3/Xbox 360

While living in Shamar, Samia was put through much grief due to her big sister Yasmine. When Yasmine started her own peace preservation team to protect Shamar from evil, Samia was forced to become a part of it by Yasmine. which Samia did not like as she thought her idea was embarrassing.

While on the team, Samia was put through many hard, though pointless and embarrassing tasks and training sessions with Yasmine to uphold peace in Shamar and improve the team. Through it all, Samia tried to tell Yasmine that she was out of control, but only ended up being berated by her.

During the events of Sonic Unleashed, Samia met Sonic the Hedgehog and Chip while together with Yasmine. As Yasmine rudely introduced themselves, Samia remained silent, but was eventually forced by Yasmine to say their their team name to Sonic and Chip, though she only managed to mumble a few broken words before she was dismissed. After their conversation with Sonic and Chip, Samia breath out a sight in relief for it to be over.

Some time later, Samia went set for some training Yasmine, where they had to smash wooden boxes, but Samia found the feat impossible for herself, which made Yasmine yell at her. No sooner, Yasmine saw Sonic and Chip nearby and began yelling at them, but Samia told her not to be rude to them. As Yasmine then retorted at her and said that they had to go after them, Samia asked her why she was making her do such things, before telling her after she got rebuked again that she was mean and unresonable about making her break the boxes. Annoyed at Samia's refusal to cooperate, Yasmine enlisted Sonic to take over Samia's exercises as punishment for eavesdropping, which Samia failed to keep her from. Regardless, Sonic cleared Yasmine's exercise in a flash, which Samia was impressed about and remarked that not even Yasmine could break the boxes so fast. After Yasmine had finished talking to Sonic, Samia then told him and Chip of how embarrassing Yasmine's peace committee was and that she was out of control.

Some time later, Samia noticed in Yasmine's eyes that she had gotten a bad idea and stayed away from her. Soon after, Samia met Sonic and Chip once again and warned them not to get near Yasmine because of her bad idea. When Sonic and Chip later returned, Samia asked them if Yasmine had been bothering them.

A while later, Samia heard from Yasminee that she had found a secret hideout for their peace committee, but she left her without telling her where it was. After Yasmine had been gone for a while, Samia became worried and began to look for her, but without results. Later, she met Sonic and Chip again, where she asked them if they had seen Yasmine and explained what had happen. Nervous about bothering him, Samia asked Sonic if he could find Yasmine, which he accepted. Thanking Sonic, Samia explaining that this was not the first time this had happen. When Sonic later return with news on Yasmine, Samia heard where she was and thanked him before heading to Yasmine. When Samia found Yasmine in a hidden room, Samia told her how worried she was about her. Regardless, Yasmine announced the place she had found as their hideout, though Samia noted it was a house that belonged to someone else.

Some time later, Samia learned that Yasmine had gone off alone to fight Badniks outside of town, which made her utterly terrified that Yasmine could get killed, and broke down crying. When she later saw Sonic and Chip nearby, she told Sonic of what had happen and asked him to save Yasmine. As Sonic accepted her request, Samia thanked him deeply. After Sonic returned with Yasmine, Samia cried in relief over her sister being, which eventually made Yasmine drop her tough facade and her insistence that she did not need help. After that, Samia thanked Sonic for his help and hoped Yasime had learned her lesson.

Later on, Samia Samia learned that Eggman's robots were outside Shamar and told it to Yasmine, which gave Yasmine the idea of fighting the robots, much to Samia's worry. Soon after though, Samia met Sonic and Chip, where she explained the situation to them before asking Sonic to protect Yasmine. A while after Sonic had helped Yasmine with her latest escapade, Samia noticed, much to her amazement, that Yasmine had become much quieter, especially when she mentioned Sonic. Around this time, Samia met Sonic and Chip, where she explained Yasmine's change to them while wondering about it, not aware that it was because Yasmine had developed a crush on Sonic.

After Super Sonic and the Gaia Colossus's confrontation with Perfect Dark Gaia, Samai rejoiced with the rest of the town, jumping up and down in joy and talking to Dimah, when the world returned to normal following Perfect Dark Gaia's defeat.

PS2/Wii

At some point in her life, Samia joined Yasmine's self-made peace committee. During the events of Sonic Unleashed, Samia, while she was with Yasmine, met Sonic the Hedgehog and Chip. As Yasmine introduced their peace committee to them, Samia remained silent until Yasmine told her to say their team name, but she managed only to mumble a few broken phases. This made Yasmine rebuke Samia and say that they had to practice it more, much to Samia's annoyance.

Some time later, Samia and Yasmine met Sonic and Chip, where Yasmine told them that they should have a good-luck charm. Initially, Samia did not see that Yasmine was referring to the charm that she possessed, but she soon caught onto her hint and gave Sonic and Chip Secret Soundtrack 42.

A while afterwards, Samia and Yasmine met Sonic and Chipagain, where Yasmine told them that it was hard work preserving peace, while Samia told her longingly that she wanted to go home only to get rebuffed.

After Super Sonic and the Gaia Colossus's confrontation with Perfect Dark Gaia, Samai rejoiced with the rest of the town, jumping up and down in joy and talking to Dimah, when the world returned to normal following Perfect Dark Gaia's defeat.
