Sanpelagroso is an island that appears in the Adventures of Sonic the Hedgehog television series. It is a resort designed for thrill-seeking holiday-makers.
History
After Dr. Robotnik announced his retirement, Sonic and Tails were invited to the island of Sanpelagroso, supposedly as thanks for many years of service fighting Robotnik. In fact, both the retirement and the invitation were part of a plan by Robotnik to destroy Sonic. The island was booby trapped and staffed by Robotnik's own minions.[1]
