The Shriek-bot[1] is an object that appears in the Sonic the Hedgehog television series. It is a flying vehicle designed by Dr. Robotnik.
Description
Appearance
The Shriek-bot is a grey, rounded vehicle with a dark blue rear. Its windows are normally transparent, but when piloted by Dr. Robotnik remotely, his face appears on the window.
Features and abilities
The Shriek-bot is capable of flight and shooting blue lasers. While it has a cockpit that can seemingly be used to control it remotely, it can also be piloted from afar using virtual reality.[1]
History
While on a mission, Sonic the Hedgehog and Sally spotted Dr. Robotnik's Shriek-bot, and Uncle Chuck working on it. Trying to get to his uncle, Sonic snuck toward him but Snively and Robotnik spotted him. Robotnik ordered Snively to activate the Shriek-bot and when Sonic got close, it gave chase. When Sonic failed to outrun the Shriek-bot (while carrying Sally), he pulled out a Power Ring and escaped.[1]
