Skoal Island was a tropical island on Mobius. It served as the home of King Gong, a huge mechanical ape that was one of Dr. Ivo Robotnik's first robotic creations. The robot escaped and made his way to this island. Robotnik eventually found the location of his creation and went to the island, along with Snively and some robots to hunt for the huge ape.
