The Skorp is a character that appears in the Sonic the Hedgehog comic series and its spin-offs published by Archie Comics. It is a scorpion-based Badnik variant created by Dr. Eggman.

Appearance

The Skorps are orange, black, and gray robots resembling a cross between a scorpion and a tank. On each side of their body they have a caterpillar track for moving around and claws resembling that of a scorpion's. They also have round black faces with orange plating on top and a scorpion-like tail on the middle of their back that consists of several connected spheres and a mace at the tip.

History

Worlds Collide

When the timeline was rewritten by Dr. Eggman and Dr. Wily's Genesis Wave, a lone Skorp ended up in the Skull Egg Zone where it came across a Sasoreenu, while Sonic, Mega Man, Tails, and Rush's party passed by.[1]

Shattered World Crisis

Note: From the reader's point of view, this picks up from where the Skorps' original timeline ended.
Sonic in Wrong Car

Sonic encounters multiple Skorp, from Sonic the Hedgehog #258.

Sonic encountered a number of Skorps on an Bullet Train while attempting to rescue Uncle Chuck and Professor Dillon Pickle from Eggman's forces. Thanks to the help of the Freedom Fighters though, the Skorps were defeated and their Mobini released.[2]
