The Slicer is a character that appears in the Sonic the Comic series published by Fleetway Editions. It is a mass-produced, mantis-based Badnik model created by Dr. Ivo Robotnik.
Appearance
Slicers, as a Badnik, are based on mantises. A Slicer's head is flat with two yellow eyes with small pupils and two metallic mandibles. Slicers also have two arms and thin legs with feet.
History
When Johnny Lightfoot needed to sneak into a Badnik Processing Plant, the shell of a Slicer was used by the mobian rabbit as a disguise in order to successfully access the plant along with the other Freedom Fighters.[1][2]
Trivia
- The Slicers are based on the enemy that debuted in Sonic the Hedgehog 2.
