Sonic Boom is a limited edition DVD included as a free gift in the launch edition of Sonic Boom: Fire & Ice. It includes episodes thirty, forty-four and fifty-two of the first season of Sonic Boom.[1]

Episode synopses[]

Chili Dog Day Afternoon[]

Knuckles wants to win the village's annual Chili Dog Cook-Off. He sets out on a quest to find the perfect ingredients. Along the way he comes across a village of Pepper People and their leader, Claggerhorn, who have been waiting for a savior to help them reclaim their ancestral homeland―which just happens to be the Village Center!

It Wasn't Me, It Was the One-Armed Hedgehog[]

Dr. Eggman's particle accelerator has been stolen, and all evidence points to Sonic. Sonic must find the real thief in order to clear his name.

It Takes a Village to Defeat a Hedgehog[]

In his most diabolical plan yet, Eggman decides to band together will all of Sonic's enemies. However, working in a group with a bunch of villains isn't as easy as it sounds. And it gets even more complicated when Sonic's greatest foe Shadow the Hedgehog joins the fight.

  • Sonic Boom is the first television series DVD to be included with the purchase of a Sonic game.
  • Metal Sonic's artwork on the DVD cover is actually artwork of his main series counterpart.
  • This is the first DVD release of the Sonic Boom television series in North America. It was also the only DVD release in North America at the time, as the series was otherwise exclusive to Hulu (United States) and Netflix (Canada).
