Sonic Dance is a compilation album of various musicians. Although the music in this album is not based on the Sonic franchise, the branding for this album was based on Sonic. Curiously, the Dutch version was released by a different label, Magnum, than in other countries, where it was released by Arcade. An alternate version of the Dutch cover advertises an opportunity to enter the "Sonic Dance Contest." The track list for this album varied from country to country.
