If there is another Super Smash Brothers. And Sonic was in it, wouldn't we have to make pages for all those characters? Or we could just sum it up in one page. --Bullet Francisco Don't Be a Jerk to the Bullet! 21:58, April 27, 2011 (UTC)
- We could say that, since Sonic was only unlockable in the first one, then it doesn't count. But I don't know. Is there a new game coming up? -- Supermorff 01:08, April 28, 2011 (UTC)
I don't know, but the idea came to my mind, I think it'd be pretty useless to create all those pages just for characters in the Super Smash Bros. series, then users will get the idea that they can create a page for anyone in the series. --Bullet Francisco Don't Be a Jerk to the Bullet! 01:13, April 28, 2011 (UTC)
If Sonic is playable in the new Super Smash Bros. game, then we could have the characters that were playable in both Brawl and the new game. Only the veterans in the new game would get articles, not the newcomers, or any of the characters that aren't playable in the new game. If Pichu, Mewtwo, Roy, Young Link, or Dr. Mario returns in the new game, despite being veterans, they won't get articles because they appeared only in Melee, which neither Sonic, nor Tails nor any Sonic character were playable despite an April Fools Joke claiming they were. Please read this.
You probably won't read this, but I think the rule should be more clear. Why does it say you "should try to have at least" 100 edits (50 mainspace), that just makes it sound more like a reccomendation. I really think that someone should change it.
In the Art section, where it says that you cannot edit other people's fan artwork, there should be a comma after "Once again". --08:15, July 21, 2012 (UTC)
I don't want to say this but I hate policy. When I put a photo up a policy get mad at me. -Tails10546
- From what I understand, you haven't been complying well with Administrator's warnings. We aren't getting mad at you, we want you to simply obey the rules you've been warned about. Serious Sam Heavy 19:37, October 31, 2012 (UTC)
- I'm sorry if you hate the policy, but those are the rules - if an image does not conform to the policy, it gets deleted. However, as a community, we do not think any less of a user who breaks rules unintentionally, so don't worry. Just make sure to obey the rules next time.

- To add on to what Solace and Sacor said, because I don't think they were quite clear on this, you pretty much have to read the policy before you begin editing. The policy quite clearly states that you have to upload images that do not contain certain characters/have certain suffixes. This is to make the image base a lot more specific, so you don't have to go to the image page to see what "File:374758383" is. It is rather simple to follow this policy, just upload your image with a specific name, and you'll be perfectly fine. If you refuse to follow this rule, your image will be deleted or renamed - simple as that. Just obey this rule and you'll be alright. If you have any questions or conerns whatsoever, please contact me on my talk page. :) -- 00:24, November 1, 2012 (UTC)
i have an idea
also you can post fanficton in sonic fanon wiki
As far as I know, any trivia regarding the article's subject itself is highly acceptable, so are comparisons between subject matters of said articles (x is related to y for z reason, etc). Cameos are often discouraged, and should be put on the Cameos page. Serious Sam Heavy 11:17, May 23, 2013 (UTC)
Don't compare a character or other subject to something from another continuity. It is only relevant/notable if the subject is actually based on the thing from another continuity, and if this is the case it should be mentioned in a production background section not in trivia. Also, I might as well use this opportunity to complain about the habit of people renaming perfectly good article sections to be 'Trivia'. It is perfectly acceptable to have 'Production background' or 'Etymology' sections too. -- Supermorff (talk) 12:28, May 23, 2013 (UTC)
Rules like image flooding, clear examples of them and such are not clearly stated, such as here: here, so shall I add it?
