Description	A powerful blue wind that wraps up and damages the opponent.

Sonic Wind is one of Sonic the Hedgehog's special moves in Sonic Adventure 2 and Sonic Adventure 2: Battle. When performing this technique, Sonic damages his opponents with a blue wind current. It is performed by Sonic as the final boss of the Dark story, and can only be performed by the player when playing as Sonic in the games' two-player mode.

When performing Sonic Wind, Sonic raises his right fist and shouts "Sonic Wind". He will then create a small cyclone made of sharp, sky blue winds, which will wrap around and ensnare his opponent, wherever they might be. When Sonic Wind hits, it causes damage to the opponent.

Sonic Wind can only be performed by the player by playing as Sonic in the games' two-player mode. To use it in gameplay, the player must press the Action Button after collecting 40 Rings. After using it, the player has to collect another 40 Rings to use Sonic Wind again. In two-player mode, Sonic Wind is nearly impossible to avoid, unless the other player is Metal Sonic, who can use his Black Shield to protect himself from these type of attack.

Sonic Wind is also performed by Sonic during the final boss battle against him in the Dark story. Here, Sonic will perform this technique if Shadow trails too far behind on the runway, but it can be evaded by running forward.
