Sonic the Hedgehog 2 is a mobile phone game released as part of the Sega Mobile and Sonic Cafe service offered by Sega.

This game is basically a port of Sonic the Hedgehog 2 for the Sega Mega Drive. However, there are a few additional features, such as an ability to resume the game from the level you last played, submitting high scores to a national league table, and an "Attack Mode" where you play against the game's bosses in sequential order. There is also a small green bar at the top of the screen where you can find your score, number of Rings and extra lives.
