Sonic the Hedgehog Adventure Gamebooks were a series of four gamebooks published in the United Kingdom by Ladybird. Unlike most gamebooks, these were largely pictorial, and instead of directly telling the reader which page to go to next, there were activities such as spot the differences, mazes, and finding the number of a certain object on the page. The solution to these activities would be the next page number.
Sonic the Hedgehog Adventure Gamebooks were based off early Sonic the Hedgehog series games, namely Sonic 2 and Sonic 3. The zones from the original games were kept, but due to the books' format, the exact plots could not be kept.
