Fiber Obtic Sonicam

Rotor explaining the Sonicam to Sonic.

The Sonicam is a device that appears in the Sonic the Hedgehog and its spin-off comic series'. It is a fiber-optic camera that allows the Knothole Freedom Fighters to monitor Sonic the Hedgehog. It was inserted on Sonic's shoe strap to watch Sonic's movement. Unfortunately, due to Sonic's rate of speed, he is too fast for the monitor.

History

It was only used once; when Dr. Robotnik had captured Amy Rose and, eventually, Miles "Tails" Prower, Sonic went to Robotnik's newly created zone, the Collision Chaos Zone, and raced Metal Sonic in the Stardust Speedway Zone. However, Sonic used the Figure-Eight Peel-Out to beat Metal Sonic, which the robotic doppelganger melted trying to keep up with Sonic. It is unknown what happened to the Sonicam afterwards.[1]
