Speedy is a Mobian bird and the sixteenth Battle Kukku of the Navy. As the son of the current Battle Lord, Grand Battle Kukku XV he is the heir apparent to the Battle Kukku army and the next in line for the leading job.
He was inspired by Jet the Hawk and wanted to be like him (similar to Tails, and Sonic) until Predator Hawk attacked him, landing the hawk in prison.
History
After Predator Hawk, Jet, Wave the Swallow, and Storm the Albatross escaped from the army and formed their own group, Speedy went back to his normal life at his father's secret base on Cocoa Island, until Miles "Tails" Prower, Bunnie D'Coolette and Antoine D'Coolette arrived on the island for a "vacation".
Speedy and his troops waited until nighttime, and then launched their attack, capturing Antoine and Bunnie and chasing Tails into a tunnel where the fox waited until daytime. Speedy suspected that Bunnie was not a Dark Egg Legion agent like she claimed to be, and the bird hooked up to the Armada's computer and found out that, even though Bunnie looked like a D.E.L. agent, the rabbit had been partly roboticized before the D.E.L was formed. Following this, Speedy armed himself with the newly-created Mole Mech and fought the combined might of Tails and his pet robot, T-Pup, losing to them.
The bird congratulated his rivals on their victory, flat-out refused a friendship with Tails, and told the Freedom Fighters to leave the fortress. Speedy was caught for not informing his father about the events, but wasn't punished. Instead, he took part in the hidden fortress's violent take-off.
