The Spin Blade Ball Attack[1] is move that appears in the Sonic the Hedgehog comic series and its spin-offs published by Archie Comics. It is a technique used by Antoine D'Coolette where he uses his sword during a Spin Attack.
Description
When performing the Spin Blade Ball Attack, Antoine curls up and shoots forward like a concussive ball, much like the Spin Attack, except that Antoine keeps his sword outstretched while spinning. This maneuver turns Antoine into a literal buzzsaw that can effortlessly slash through tree trunks.[1]
Trivia
- The Spin Blade Ball Attack may have been inspired by Sonic the Hedgehog's unnamed maneuver in the video game Sonic and the Black Knight where he spins into a ball when slashes with Caliburn, or the Spin Slash technique from the cancelled video game Sonic X-Treme.
