Added by SupermorffSpores are plant seeds from the Mandrake Swamp of Planet Meridian, which are used as a weapon by Root and his mud monsters.

They put to sleep anyone that comes in contact with them, and they act so quickly that even Sonic the Hedgehog was not fast enough to escape them.
HistoryEdit
When the Chaotix Crew and Sonic visited the swamp to rescue Blockhead Bill and Society Max, the heroes were forced to battle mud monsters sent by Root. A green one released spores from all over its body, aiming them at the invaders. Despite Sonic's efforts to blow them all away with a vortex, both he and Chaotix fell asleep and were taken to Root.[1]
