Stomp[1] is a move used by each member of Team Sonic in Sonic Boom: Rise of Lyric.
Description
Stomp is an attack that the player uses to damage enemies and destroy obstacles. While in a mid-jump or in the air, the user dives downward and strikes the ground which will create shock waves that can damage enemies and destroy boxes. This attack can also pierce through special armor that some enemies use to defend themselves. The execution of this move depends on the user: Sonic curls into a ball and Spin Attacks downward, Amy hammers directly into the ground with her piko hammer, and Knuckles dives his fists into the ground, but he will not leave a shock wave after doing the attack. To use the move in gameplay, the player must press 
while in the air.
Trivia
- Sonic's version of this move is similar to the Bounce Attack.
- A glitch allows the users of Stomp to gain a ton of height after colliding with an object or enemy.[2]
