While in his super form, A.D.A.M. strongly resembles his basic form, except that his nanite armor becomes golden, and his eyebrows becomes slightly more jagged. Most noticeable, he has also gained a pair of mechanical wings on his back.
A.D.A.M. attained this form during the Great Harmony, when Sonic the Hedgehog arrived to save his friends. As their battle continued, Sonic and A.D.A.M. passed through the device that was gathering all Chaos Emeralds. Absorbing their Chaos energy, Sonic transformed into Super Sonic, but A.D.A.M. responded in kind, by using the same energies to become Super A.D.A.M.
Super A.D.A.M. engaged Super Sonic in a heated where both were unable to get the upper hand. While Super A.D.A.M. was distracted, however, Turbo Tails and Super Shadow completed the Great Harmony by sending the Chaos Emeralds to the Zone of Silence, much to Super A.D.A.M.'s anger. As the Egg Fleet arrived to destroy him, Super A.D.A.M. was unconcerned as he was sure his super form gave him a fighting chance. Tommy, however, managed to reassert control of his body long enough for him to leave himself, and Super A.D.A.M., open to lethal fire from the Egg Fleet, killing them both.
Powers and abilities
While in his super form, Super A.D.A.M.'s innate talents are multiplied several times over and he is powerful enough to fight even Super Sonic to a standstill. Additionally, he has gained the power of flight without the need of his nanites, and is invulnerable to virtually any harm, making him nearly invincible. He also retains him normal ability to control control an innumerable number of nanites, which he could use to infect and control virtually any mechanical device.
Super A.D.A.M. also possesses a connection to the Chaos Force, seeing as how he and Super Sonic gave off green energy waves when clashing.
- Super A.D.A.M.'s name was first revealed in Sonic the Hedgehog: The Complete Sonic Comic Encyclopedia.
- It appears that only A.D.A.M.'s nanite shell is affected by the super transformation, as Tommy's own appearance remained unchanged when he took control of Super A.D.A.M. despite serving as A.D.A.M.'s host.
- Super A.D.A.M. looks similar to Solaris's second form in Sonic the Hedgehog (2006).
