In Sega Superstars, Super Monkey Ball is the settings for one of the games. In this game, the player must move their arms in different positions to guide the Monkey Ball around obstacles and towards the goal. Meanwhile, the player must pick up as many bananas as possible along the way. The courses' appearance are similar to Jungle Island from Super Monkey Ball 2.
Sega Superstars Tennis
In Sega Superstars Tennis, Super Monkey Ball is one of the game's tennis courts. It is based on Monkey Island in Super Monkey Ball: Banana Blitz. Purple, exotic birds fly over the course as GonGon, YanYan and Baby observe the match while other monkeys in monkey balls roll around the lanes and bridges outside the court.
While Sonic Riders is not part of the Sega Superstars series, AiAi appears in the game as an unlockable racer with his signiture Extreme Gear; BANANA. A portion of the unlockable course Sega Carnival bares resemblence to Jungle Island from Super Monkey Ball 2.
Sonic & Sega All-Stars Racing
In Sonic & Sega All-Stars Racing, there are three courses based on the series. Treetops are based on Jungle Island, Sandy Drifts on Detritus Desert and Monkey Target is a series of islands and pirate ships.
Sonic & All-Stars Racing Transformed
In Sonic & All-Stars Racing Transformed, Temple Trouble is a race course based on Monkey Island with various Aztec-like temples, with a masked tribe of monkeys spectating at the finish line. It is one of the few courses in the game that does not loop due to being a downhill race track leading into a magical green energy that takes the player back to the start.
- In Sonic Universe #45, which is a comic adaption of Sonic & All-Stars Racing Transformed, Doctor Eggman calls AiAi's homeworld "Jungle Island". He had plans of taking the islands' banana horde for a lifetime supply of smoothies.
