The Super Spin,[1] also known as the Triple-S,[2] is a move that appears in the Sonic the Hedgehog television series. It is the signature attack used by Sonic the Hedgehog where he curls into a sharp ball.

Description[]

As a hedgehog, Sonic the Hedgehog is capable of curling up into a ball. Combined with his super speed, performing this maneuver lets Sonic turn himself into a concussive ball or buzz saw that can move around at super speed. This move can be used to burrow through the earth rapidly[3] and is powerful enough to tear through thick metal.[4]
