Tails Man is one of the Roboticized Masters that works for Dr. Eggman and Dr. Wily in the Sonic the Hedgehog and Mega Man crossover, Worlds Collide event. He is a Roboticized version of Miles "Tails" Prower, who was captured by Dr. Eggman and Dr. Wily after resetting Mobius and Mega Man's world via the Genesis Wave.
As a robotic version of Tails, Tails Man resembled his organic form, though with a number of Robot Master-esque features. His lower legs resembled white boots, while his forearms were white and cylindrical as well. Instead of a muzzle, he had a flattened faceplate beneath his two emotionless blue eyes, with a gray plate of metal with triangular points on his forehead. His organic twin-tails became metallic rotors/wings that spun around to enable flight. The white fur on Tails' chest had also become a white plate below Tails' neck in this form.
Tails was kidnapped along with Knuckles, Amy and Shadow by Metal Sonic v3.0 and Bass. The pair of robots delivered them to Dr. Eggman and Dr. Wily, who turned them all into the Roboticized Masters. Tails Man was sent with the others to break into the Mega City Bank, where they where confronted by Proto Man. Tails Man's teammates Knuckles Man and Rose Woman quickly overcame their attacker, only for Mega Man to arrive. Subsequently, Tails Man would monitor Mega Man's battle with Sonic the Hedgehog in Green Hill sending footage to the two doctors in the Skull Egg Zone.
After being ordered to follow Sonic and Mega Man through the Warp Ring made by Dr. Light, Tails Man continued to monitor the battle between the two heroes, now in Mega City. When the two started to talk and thus realize that neither was guilty of the crimes they were blamed for, Eggman and Wily order Tails Man to engage and destroy them. After a quick battle, Tails Man was rendered inert by the combined effects of Mega Man's Mega Buster and Sonic's Spin Dash. Mega Man decided to copy Tails Man, but a mere touch reverts Tails Man back into normal Tails.
Like Tails, Tails Man was capable of flight, though his was provided by spinning rotors and engines rather than his tails. Tails Man was also capable of converting his hands into powerful cannons that unleashed an air-based attack known as Tails Wind.
- This is the second time Tails has been roboticized in the Sonic the Hedgehog franchise the first being Mecha Tails.
- The fins on Tails Man's body bear a strong resemblance to the fins on Sage Harupia and Tornado Man from the Mega Man Zero series and Mega Man 9, respectively. All three of these characters coincidentially also utilized wind as their primary ability.
- As all of the Roboticized Masters have been given numerical designations, it is likely that Tails Man would be considered Eggman Wily Number (EWN)-000, as he was the prototype for the series. However, this has not been confirmed in the series.
