Black Doom, IMO, sounds more like Dr. Claw than Megatron. When you point it out, yeah, I can hear the resemblance, but Megatron's voice isn't that low. When the game first came out, players were talking about how much he sounded like Dr. Claw. As a comparison:

Sean Schemmel?!

WHAT?! Sean Schemmel, the voice of Son Goku from Dragon Ball and Lucario from "Lucario & the Mystery of Mew" voicing a villian!? Is that right?!Sonic &Scrab Master Screw the rules, I have money! 18:02, April 26, 2011 (UTC)

Yes. In Sonic x he also voice a villain, Black Narcissus. 20:17, April 26, 2011 (UTC)

I heard he also voiced Lector, one of the villains in Yu-Gi-Oh!, although his voice wasn't nearly as menacing as Black Doom's Ghostkaiba297 (talk) 01:08, April 28, 2014 (UTC)

Fusion with the Black Comet!

doesn't Black Doom merge with the Black Comet to transform into Devil Doom? as it along with the Black Arms are part of him, or rather Black Doom is the Black Comet! WaterKirby1994 09:32, June 26, 2011 (UTC)

Black Doom's wife?

Now, since Black Doom's the oldest living Black Arm, all the others would be his descendants. Does he have a wife, or somehow produce children alone? CamerontheFox88 (talk) 23:00, July 22, 2012 (UTC)

I assumed that the Black Arms produce asexually. I'm sure there's something about it somewhere. Myself 123 23:03, July 22, 2012 (UTC)

You do bring up quite an interesting topic, Cameron! :D I'm 99.9% sure that the Black Arms asexually produce. ...Of course, here I am, saying so, while I can't find any clean-cut evidence to back it up. *has looked everywhere* But think of it this way; the Black Arms seem to be very male-dominant. (I mean granted, their gender isn't really specified, but hearing their masculine growls/roars and judging by their masculine pecs, I'd say they're dudes. XD) I guess in theory, sure, there could be a wife doing all the spawning, but in Black Doom's character, I'd see him as a sort of know, wanting everything to be pure as pure can be. In the case of his kids, he'd want them spawned directly from him if he wanted them to be top-notch. No other genetics to possibly mess it all up! Does that make any sense? XD LazloTitan (talk) 03:39, July 23, 2012 (UTC)

Yes, that makes sense to me. (sorry for taking so long to reply, I haven't been on the wiki for months)CamerontheFox88 (talk) 09:33, June 2, 2013 (UTC)

Don't you think SEGA was trying to make a rip off of Darth Vador? He has a creepy voice, wants you to join him, when you complete his mission it says DARK mission completed and he turns out to be your father?!WHAAAA!!That is a star wars reference on the spot~Cyclonestar

Oh thank goodness I'm not the only one who thinks that! But seriously, you should sorta see it coming. As WiiDude83Rebirth said in cjszero01's "Top 5 Best and Worst Sonic Characters" video, he lacks less common sense than Eggman in earlier boss fights! (But for the record, I find Darth Vader's voice creepier than Black Doom's) MewtwoLucario (talk) 17:24, July 11, 2015 (UTC)

That's the most forced and farfetched comparison I've seen. Reddez (talk) 06:03, December 4, 2016 (UTC)

Seems plausible to me. To add your this, he wants Shadow to join the "Black Arms," while Vader wanted his son to join the "dark side." And yeah, there's the "I am your father" shtick. I think "ripoff" is an over-exaggeration though, since Black Doom is fairly different. TyphlosionX (talk) 14:25, December 7, 2016 (UTC)

Where does this thing about the Black Arms wanting to devour humans comes from?

I cannot find any reference to this in the game script. Reddez (talk) 06:05, December 4, 2016 (UTC)

Watch/play the last story of the game; Black Doom will mention it like that the humans are energy source for them. Luma.dash (talk) 09:43, December 4, 2016 (UTC)
Quote from Black Doom "Humans are a great energy source for us... they will be well-kept." Admittedly it does not say "devour" so something like that is speculative should be rewritten to be more accurate to the quote as there are other ways to turn living things into sources of energy Sonic saiyan (talk) 02:56, December 7, 2016 (UTC)
The "devour" term may have come from that they are a brutal species that wants to feed in order to stay alive. Like when we say; We eat food in order to oxidize the energy from it for our vital activities. That's why it was not taken of being a tangible in that sense, though it may not be the truth, so feel free to make it more accurate. Luma.dash (talk) 10:03, December 7, 2016 (UTC)

It's also worth noting that once the characters are hit by the nerve gas during the last story, Black Doom orders the Black Leeches to devour them. Myself 123 14:56, December 7, 2016 (UTC)

You're right "Ahh... my dear offspring... Eat and devour these savory dishes!" - I swear I did a search for the term "devour" on that script, why did that not show up? Sonic saiyan (talk) 05:33, December 8, 2016 (UTC)
Good point Myself :) Luma.dash (talk) 10:11, December 8, 2016 (UTC)
