So we mentioned that the third phase is a reference to Nega-Wisp Armor, but what about the second phase? Isn't that based on Metal Madness? SYZekrom (talk) 02:13, November 21, 2017 (UTC)
Have you noticed the mech used the final phase gets out of the former Death Egg Robo as if it's an Chest Buster from Aliens?

"Death Egg Robot" or "Mega Death Egg Robot"[]
So... the Sonic Forces Original Soundtrack - A Hero Will Rise refers to this boss as the "Mega Death Egg Robot", yet the game itself just calls it the "Death Egg Robot". What do you guys think? Should it be treated as the same Death Egg Robot or as a separate model?Ultrasonic9000 (talk) 11:41, December 29, 2017 (UTC)
- I would just vote with the game's introduce (Death Egg Robot). Music has little to do with the boss, beside being into the mood to fighting. FredCat 15:24, December 29, 2017 (UTC)
The wiki says this is his trump card but[]
In the IDW series neo metal says "I was to be his greatest weapon in the final battle" (source) https://grabber.zone/wp-content/uploads/WP-manga/data/manga_6388809b6d8bc/81c44d958dfb321a38a09de404ac0061/Sonic-The-Hedgehog-(2018-)-007-007.jpg and this very wiki states that the IDW series is cannon https://sonic.fandom.com/wiki/Sonic_canon#:~:text=IDW%20Publishing,-An%20ensemble%20of&text=In%20the%20seventh%20episode%20of,the%20events%20of%20Sonic%20Forces. so wouldn't neo metal be his trump card, even if Eggman doesn't mention it. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Occidere6 (talk • contribs) 15:03, December 22, 2023
