[edit] Faults
While the article seems to be very good, I feel that there are a few faults
- 1. There's too many images. Personaly, I feel as though the only images needed are: Latest art, first art, Team Dark group photo, and a weak maybe gameplay photo.
- 2. Relationships needs to be cut. Omega's relations with the Nocturnus, and Metal are very minor. I feel they should be removed, and Eggman's section could be lenghtened a bit. Mephiles may also need to be either cut, or removed entirley.
- 3. Info on Omega's roles in each is un-needed, and should be merged into that games article. I feel as though it's just there to make the article larger.
- 4. The abilities section also seems to be ther, just to be there, and can easily be placed in his template thingy (Sorry, I forgot what it's called.)
I hope you understand, and I will be trying similar things with other character articles. Why'd I start here? Omega's up for FA, and if this will become a FA, I want to be in tip-top shape! Skeletal SLJCOAAATR Soul 21:44, 9 October 2008 (UTC)
- Fans want plot. There was a vote recently stating so. The abilities section goes more in-depth. Mephiles is a key role towards Omega. Cut a bit of the relationships and abilities section and you'd cut a few of the refs too. The images would just become useless then.Fairfieldfencer FFF 07:01, 10 October 2008 (UTC)
- Yes, but plots belong more in each games specific article. Should we start adding each, and every little role to Sonic's article? No. It'd become useless, repetative, and far too lenghty. As for Mephiles, personally, I feel as though a one-time relationship isn't that important. If Mephiles were to ever reappear, I'm all for it, after all, he IS my favorite character, and it pains me to injure him like this, but, it's for what I believe is the best for the article. Why would the images be useless? Skeletal SLJCOAAATR Soul 19:34, 10 October 2008 (UTC)
- They'd just be lying around on none of the articles like the other dozen or so images.Fairfieldfencer FFF 20:41, 10 October 2008 (UTC)
- We could easily ask Ferral, or Nav to delete them? Skeletal SLJCOAAATR Soul 21:27, 10 October 2008 (UTC)

I know you got it from The Word Of God (or the closest thing: the Flynn-man), but... E-123 Omega is the 123rd robot in the E-100 series? Seriously? That dosn't add up, FFF, and you know it. Molten Scandium 01:44, 3 March 2009 (UTC)
- ...Maybe Ian meant 123'rd of the E-Series? SLJCOAAATR the SNN Admin Careful, it's a Faradox 01:49, 3 March 2009 (UTC)
- That's closer, but it's STILL wrong. Because of Zero. Zero's first, which means E-101 Beta is 2nd, E-102 Gamma is 3rd... a process which would eventually make E-123 the 24th E-100 series robot. It make-a the no sense! - Molten Scandium 02:16, 3 March 2009 (UTC)
- ZERO being part of the E-100 Series doesn't make any sense. After E-102 Gamma was built, Eggman said he was the second of his E-100 model machines, after E-101 Beta. If ZERO was part of the E-100 Series then Gamma would be the third. As for Omega being the 123rd, what Flynn says has come from background checks, possibly even a SEGA official. What he says goes. More confusing stuff than this has happened in the Sonic Series before.Fairfieldfencer FFF 10:00, 3 March 2009 (UTC)
- Arithmetic dosn't make mistakes, FFF. People make mistakes. Whatever way you look at it, you can't cram 123 robots into 23 integers. Molten Scandium 12:22, 3 March 2009 (UTC)
- Granted. But what the officials say is final. Perhaps Eggman called it the E-100 Series because he was planning on making over 100 models. Thus making E-123 Omega the 123rd. If you like, I can ask Ian again about the mistake this Sunday. Or you could sign up and ask him. Clear a few things up. You could even use your sig as an advertisement for SNN.Fairfieldfencer FFF 13:08, 3 March 2009 (UTC)

Not having ever read an Archie comic in my life, methinks I'd be something of an imposter on Bumbleking... :S Molten Scandium 13:13, 3 March 2009 (UTC)
- There are plenty of topics on the games. There's even a topic on E-123 Omega I made and who you think his next voice actor will be. But now I'm just rambling- point is, you can still fit in without being an Archie fan or reader.Fairfieldfencer FFF 13:20, 3 March 2009 (UTC)
[edit] Sad News...
I, SmashGirl, Sonic fan extrodinaire, am sad to announce(I you like the old voice actors, you probably won't care) that Maddie Blaustien has died. Why am I telling you this on Omega's article, you ask? Because she was his voice actoress, of course. She also did a great job voicing Meowth on Pokemon, just ask the Pokemon fans. This obvously mens that SEGA's gonna have a problem, cause now the poor bucket of bolts needs a new actor. Fourtunatley, they won't be switching the voice actors to DIC anytime soon(Just a little joke, Haha..) RIP Maddie. You were better than no one at all, just like the others. That's what I beileve. Give the 4kids actors a chance people. SmashGirl
- I've heard Meowth's voice and Maddie was very good. The article already states her passing and his need for a new voice actor, but thanks for informing us. And I like 4Kids voice actors. Dan Green does quite well as Knuckles. Granted he sounded always angry in Sonic X, but that's changed now. I wonder who'll voice the 'bot now. Please don't let it be "Ergo." Whoever it is will probably only be there for one performance. No one's done the English roll for more than one game. First was fired, second retired and the third passed on. Let's hope nothing happens to Taiten.Fairfieldfencer FFF 23:11, 26 December 2008 (UTC)

[edit] Omega's voice
Many disliked Maddie's Omega voice, I included, but I feel that this wasn't her fault, as I shall now explain.
I think SEGA must have changed the audio equipment to make people have robotic voices in Sonic 06. I've seen a video of all of Team Dark's cutscenes in Japanese and Taiten Kusunoki, (Omega's JAP VA), sounded way different.
SONIC HEROES -TEAM DARK- (Japanese)
But listen to the difference in his voice in Sonic 06.
SONIC THE HEDGEHOG (X360) the MOVIE {JPN Ver.} Act 4 (3/4)
He sounds way different. So... I would blame SEGA for making Omega sound bad and not Maddie. (S)he has proven to have a very deep voice in her/his previous roles. Such as the President in ShtH and the Babylon Guardian in Sonic Riders. Do you think this is noteworthy for the trivia section?Fairfieldfencer FFF 12:41, 20 February 2009 (UTC)
- Unfortunately, we don't have any sources saying that Sega used a robotic voice machine, on top of her voice recordings, so, I say no. SLJCOAAATR the SNN Admin Careful, it's a Faradox 15:22, 21 February 2009 (UTC)
- There's no way that's her own voice though. Shame this isn't about Jon St. John. This video proves he had a robotic sound effect added. [1] You just hear his natural voice in Team Dark's prototype opening.Fairfieldfencer FFF 15:34, 21 February 2009 (UTC)
[edit] Pronunciation
Is it E-123 (E one twenty-three) or E-123 (E one two three)? I don't know which, and as a result, I get stuck on the former.--Akamia(Talk)(Want to see what I've been doing?) 00:33, 6 May 2009 (UTC)
- I'm pretty sure it's E one two three, as evidenced by Julien-K's This Machine in which the vocalist (presumably Shadow) addresses him as such. Xeno the Hedgehog 05:20, 6 May 2009 (UTC)
Ah'k, Thanks Xeno.--Akamia(Talk)(Want to see what I've been doing?) 07:17, 6 May 2009 (UTC)
- Rouge also said E, 1, 2, 3, Omega as well in Sonic '06.Fairfieldfencer FFF 11:17, October 16, 2009 (UTC)
[edit] Possible Sonic Characters to appear in Sonic Universe
While it talks about the role of Omega in the Archie Sonic Comics, the article also lists a ton of characters who did not make it into the comics. I deleted GUN Commander from the list because he appears at the very end of the first Sonic Universe issue and in issue 3.--Twilightwizard0309 23:21, 19 May 2009 (UTC)
- Hhrrm. Is pretty trivial, and irreevant. FFF's attempts at longest article ever. :P Feel free to remove them, but I'm not angering FFF. OH HO HO, GOOOOD LUUUUUCK. :D SLJCOAAATR Soul 23:24, 19 May 2009 (UTC)
- I only deleted GUN Commander though! What could he be mad about? That I deleted two words? --Twilightwizard0309 23:26, 19 May 2009 (UTC)
- I'll delete all of it. It is pretty trivial, and I don't think removing this will stop E-123 Omega being SNN's longest article.Fairfieldfencer FFF 08:35, 20 May 2009 (UTC)
[edit] Skill Type?
Alright, now in MASATOWG, the costumes are supposed to allow Miis to mimic the stats of the character the costume is based on, right? Well, upon gaining the Omega suit, I noticed that instead of being a powerhouse, the skill stats was pretty much at peak! So, doesn't that mean that if Omega had been playable, the powerhouse robot would have been a Skill-Type? Considering that in every other game, Omega is known for his raw strength and being the power type of Team Dark, that would be a big change of pace, wouldn't it? I don't really know why I brought it up, I just thought it was a neat little tidbit or something.--Kagimizu-Seeya 'round~ 14:42, October 20, 2009 (UTC)
- Hey, blowing **** up takes skill! But in all seriousness, I wouldn't have expected Omega to be a skill character. Though, since he is the speed skating rival, you would need to have plenty of skill. That sport does not look easy. Maybe he should have been applied to a different sport, like snow ball fighting. Betcha he's got a weapon for just such an occasion.Fairfieldfencer FFF 19:27, October 21, 2009 (UTC)
Well, taking a better look at his (or more accurrately, the Omega Suit's) stats, it seems that while Speed and Power are low (yes, you heard me right, he has a low power level), his Skill and Acceleration are almost maxed out. I'm really surprised myself at such stats. Oh, and as for "blowing **** up", doesn't he just fire wildly and hope that something hits?--Kagimizu-Seeya 'round~ 19:31, October 21, 2009 (UTC)
- Never criticise teh fan-boy! But you're right. Speed and power are surprising, but acceleration isn't. The guy walks slowly, but those jets give him great speed.Fairfieldfencer FFF 20:46, October 21, 2009 (UTC)
Yeah. I mean, you'd expect Omega to be more around Donkey Kong and Dry Bowser's stats: powerful and fast, and considering his fighting style, you'd expect his Skill level to be more around Metal Sonic's level. Hey, do you think this would be something worth a mention in his trivia?--Kagimizu-Seeya 'round~ 22:03, October 21, 2009 (UTC)
- Don't see why not.Fairfieldfencer FFF 08:01, October 22, 2009 (UTC)
Cool! Maybe I should look at the stats of the other rival suits as well.--Kagimizu-Seeya 'round~ 13:58, October 22, 2009 (UTC)
