Confirmation of naming source[]

So last night I actually emailed Ken Penders because I had always held speculation that Dimitri and Edmund were named after 2 soap opera characters, who were also brothers with the same spelling. He wrote back and said this was indeed true and Mike Kanterovich was a fan of said show and inserted those names as references. I want to share this with the community, but not sure how to properly reference it. I made the edit and it got reverted (I understand why). So how do I go about this? User:EnigmaticBurrito

My email to Ken Penders (my name redacted)
I'm not exactly sure. It looks legit, but adding privately-published sources is tricky, as they can easily be faked. Although I do know we use them in circumstances, as shown by the Sonic Boom TV series page. The best way I can think of adding it is saying "Writer Ken Penders confirmed in an Email that.." ect, and placing the screenshot next to said claim. Although it might not be best to take my word for this, since I've never added private sources before, and am just going off what I've seen.Josiahblazesig 20:45, 19 July 2021 (UTC)
I think the inclusion of an email screenshot might be a bit sketchy. It might be easiest if someone transcribed the email onto a blog somewhere and we could use the blog post as our reference. JakeMorph (talk) 01:09, 20 July 2021 (UTC)
