Simularities to Vegeta Edit

If you hadn't noticed, Shadow is almost a direct copy of Vegeta from Dragon Ball Z. The personalities, the love of a human female, the SUPER FORM, the alikeness to the main protagonist but acts different, BECOMING AN ANTI-HERO!!!!! Not to mention the same looks and powers......... Plus Dbz was before SONIC so is it me or is Shadow just an animal version of Vegeta?

Possibly, but he is a different individual with his own set of different characteristics than other characters. You can see it that way, but he will always look like Shadow the hedgehog to me. Even though they always do self-proclaim themselves, the strongest something. "I am the prince of saiyans!" "I am the ultimate life-form!"

PhysicalEdit

Whoever keeps putting that's he's Physicaly 15, stop it. There's no proof for this at all. In fact, there's proof against it. We know he was only alive a little while before ARK was shut down, and after he was brought back, well, it's only been a few years at most since then. So physicaly, he can't be more than four or five, probably around two or three years old (but chronologicly 50). I again repeat this as no one has figured it out yet. If Sega has officially said this nonsensical statement, fine. Go ahead and add it then, I have no issue. If the wiki is assuming that, no. Love?Edit

Someone added to the section of "Friends/Allies", a section that reads "Love", and only listed Amy Rose. There is no canonical proof of this statement, and you can't just say "(many agreed with this statement)". Your giving people too much of high hopes, and it was edited out.

They should put in Maria as potential love interest!

What if Shadow was a DLC character in a Mortal Kombat game? Think about it! He couldn't be Babalitized, has unlimited power, and could have a TON of fatalities! One of them could be this: He has a big, flaming red aura around him, like when he does Chaos Blast, and says "DEATH TO ALL WHO OPPOSE ME!!!". He then lunges at his opponent, shoving his hand into the rib cage, right where the heart is located, and rips it out, tosses it into the air, rips the guy/girl's head off, and tears the body in half. He then catches the heart, now holding both the guy/girl's head and heart. He crushes both in his hands, and walks away saying this: "Hmph. I don't have time for this." He could also start with this: "I will show no mercy!!" and beats the guy/girl down, and blows his opponents head up using a loaded gun. He then rips out the heart of his foe, saying "Hmph! Your weakness disgusts me!"

Can someone help me think of any more?

Wow...that is the craziest shit i've ever heard....I'm in! But i would make him more equal... like a babality (could have him trying to use chaos control but instead accendently slames himself into the ground.) 2 fatalitys like every one else. Shadow Once Being Blaze Edit

I have one very important question to ask about this page.

Where was it ever said that Shadow was originally designed to be a girl? I have never heard that anywhere, and just was wondering what the source of that was. I certainly never heard anything mentioned while Sonic Adventure 2 was being worked on. Was it a random interview while they were developing Sonic Rush? It's also mentioned on Blaze the Cat's profile, but I figured this might be noticed more here since everyone loves talking about Shadow the Hedgehog.

I'm afraid I don't see anything related to that in Shadow's article. If it was added to the article without a source, then it was likely removed as the information could very well be speculation. EYCEST★R ★ 02:17, February 7, 2012 (UTC)

It is located right in the character creation section. I quote, "When being designed, his original name was Terios, which translates to "reflection of," more than likely to play off the hero/villain dynamic within the game. Shadow's concept was also a female character until the concept of a female character was later turned into Blaze the Cat."

This information is also repeated on the Blaze the Cat article, so yeah. It's still there, and listed in two places. But I have never heard this anywhere else. Right, the only thing I can even remotely find is where the Blaze concept art was initially shown on Sonic Wrecks, located here - http://www.sonicwrecks.com/depository/christmasdayblaze/ The only thing the article does is offer rampent speculation that Blaze might be based on Shadow because of colors, and then saying maybe the character might be older then we think. But that is not any sort of insider info, since we don't even know what document contained that image, or who even drew it. It certainly doesn't look like something from the Sonic Adventure 2 era. He is making guesses in the aricle to make it sound more exciting, when really all you needed was the image. Trivia, is some of it necissary? Edit

I'm talking about the third-to-last and second-to-last one. Does it really matter if Shadow is like Vegeta or so? It has nothing to officially do with Shadow, for, there is no proof that there is any sort of connection between the two characters. If the administrators are really allowing this, I think I should start adding a load of relations to other official Sonic pages. Like how Sonic looks like it's based off Disney. He's not dead! Edit

Okay someone wrote in the Quotes section that he said something like "Goodbye Doctor!" while killing Doctor Eggman in Shadow the Hedgehog (Game). Eggman isn't dead. As Kagimizu said, its a quote from one of the alternate endings of the game. Also, we aren't going to remove the quote just because you apparently confused it as being a factual statement of some kind, nor are we going to block anons from editing the pages because of it. If anyone causes trouble, they will be blocked pure and simple.

Copy-edit for Featured status Edit

There. It has taken a while, but I finished the copy-edit for Shadow's article. The biggest problems I found were numerous formatting errors, grammar and spelling errors, and purple, unencyclopedic prose. There are a large number of things in this article that should be sourced, as well. I removed what speculation I could discern, but without proper sources (and due to unfamiliarity with the character's source material), then there's no doubt still quite a bit left. I suggest that someone who is more familiar with that character and sources scour this article and excise as much speculation as they can find.

Since previous sections have been edited since I've begun work on Shadow, I'll go through with another copy-edit at a later date. But for now, his article quality should be a step closer to what one would expect for a featured article. Trak Nar ^{Ramble on} 07:21, August 19, 2012 (UTC)

Separate Boss Battle Pages Edit

Today, a page explaining the boss battle of Shadow in SA2 was marked for deletion. What I want to know is why. I know that I can't mark this page itself in this category, and there were pages detailing character boss battles made before. Those weren't deleted. So why try to delete the one I created? Look at the history of the article you made and the reasoning the User put in the deletion tag. I think those will answer a couple of your questions.

Probably. I wouldn't have a problem with the info being placed in a seperate article as long as it's linked in the main character article or some other article that's appropriate, like the Sonic Adventure 2 article.

Yes, but he is both ageless and immortal, at least from what we have seen. An immortal person cannot die, but can still show signs of age. Shadow is also ageless, because he doesn't seem to show his age.

Just a few things... Edit

Ok here's a few things i just wanna know. Since the event's of Sonic 06 technically didnt occur then is it possible that somewhere down the Line Shadow and Rouge devolop a Romantic Relationship eventually leading to Silver's birth? It's highly likely and beliveable that Silver is there Child. 1 He has a similar fur colour to Rouge. 2 He has Super powers like pychokinis. Shadow has Super Powers. 3 His Spikes are a bit Similer to Shadows and Rouges. 4 Even though he's from the Future Shadow can not Age and say some of Shadows DNA found it's way into Rouge's Bloodstream then she could stop Ageing possibly. 5 It is highly likely Shadow and Rouge will have a Romantic Relationship and i would not be surprized whatsoever by it. Well he could have been born while Shadow was still Free and we have no idea of when exactly he was captured. Plus technically since none of that happened then Shadow is not imprisoned in the Future and Silvers future is probely drastically diffrent from the whole Doomsday thing so it's possible Rouge and Shadow do have him and they may live as a Happy Family. Shadow and Rouge still working for G.U.N, Omega helping to look after a young Silver like an Uncle, Then when Silver grows older He also joins G.U.N. Just because it was retconned doesn't mean that wasn't the future and it was implied that Shadow was captured soon after Iblis was released. Pluse, Shadow has soon little to none romantic interest in Rouge and Rouge has shown little to Shadow, so it's highly unlikely them two would form a romantic relationship. Actually Rouge has shown a good amount of Atraction to Shadow over the year's and Shadow also even spend's alot of Time around her even on Mission's. Also this is in a World where we have a Talking blue Hedgehog and many other talking unbelivable lifeform's and so on it do's not have to make total sense. Beside's if Sega decide's to put them together one Day well who here would be shocked?
