Heads Up Jake?[]
|
|
Dunno. I'm pretty sure it was there for rhyming reasons, because Jake is a commonly referred to name such as Hose, Doc, Steven etc. But it doesn't really rhyme. Ask Sonictoast, he's an expert on this kinda thing. --Bullet Francisco Don't Be a Jerk to the Bullet! 01:38, May 13, 2011 (UTC)
Song[]
Was a portion of this song, in turn from being a remix of Green Hills Zone's music from Sonic the Hedgehog 2, remixed as the Invincibility theme in Sonic Adventure/Sonic Adventure 2, and the System screen of Sonic Heroes?
Leather n' Lace[]
This is probably the most controversial line in the song, as most people are very divided over whether the line is "getting in place" or "kicking booty". However I haven't come here to argue that the line is "kicking booty", because if you listen to the line closely, it's clear that at the very least the line contains the words "getting in". However the currently listed line still doesn't sit right with a lot of people, and after having played that line over and over again, trying to work out what is being said, I think I've figured out what the correct lyrics are. The line appears to actually be "getting in good haste". I know that might sound a bit unusual at first, but if you slow down the line and listen really closely, I think you'll see that this is actually the correct line. - Bumping this. Since there are no official lyrics available for the song, this matter MUST be discussed, otherwise it is simply the opinion of one editor. TheLobsterCopter5000 (talk) 20:52, 28 February 2022 (UTC)
- Actually wouldn't the lyrics available on streaming services such as Apple Music/Spotify be considered official since they must have been submitted by SEGA? The lyric there is "Leather and lace, sixteen booty". In fact let me just transcribe the whole thing exactly the way it is written in Apple Music;
- Ten, ten, here we go again!
- Nine, Nine, don't fall behind!
- Eight, eight, say "Don't be late!"
- Seven, seven, destination heaven!
- Six, five, stay alive!
- Four, three: now it's you and me!
- Two, one: we're going to have fun
- Say "Blast off!"
- Hey!
- Excalibur, it's not that far
- What do ya make? Give and take
- Goin' Home, Time Zone
- Check out Egg, he's never alone
- Leather and lace, sixteen booty
- What do you get? Say "Fast jet!"
- Doom Room, cosmic zoom
- Heads up, Jake, it's sonic boom!
- Toot-toot, Sonic Warrior!
- Toot-toot, Sonic Warrior!
- Your hour is near at hand
- You've got the power to save the land!
- Take a little chance, slip on through
- You gotta survive no matter what you do
- You gotta do for you
- Toot-toot, Sonic Warrior!
- Toot-toot, Sonic Warrior!
- The power is in your mind
- To save the planet and conquer time!
- Toot-toot, Sonic Warrior
- Deep in space and time
- Toot-toot, Sonic Warrior
- Forever in your mind!
- Nothing can survive the will to stay alive
- 'Cause if you try, you can do anything!
- Toot-toot, Sonic Warrior
- Always takes a chance
- Toot-toot, Sonic Warrior
- Never says he can't!
- Nothing can survive the will to stay alive
- 'Cause if you try, you can do anything!

BPM & Key?[]
I think the BPM (77) and key (???) of the song should be listed somewhere on this page.
