Ristar / Sonic 3
Has anyone noticed that in Ristar, a game in this package, there are quite a few similarities with the Sonic games (mainly Sonic 3)? The first level is grassy like Angel Island, Green Hill, etc, second level is watery like Hydrocity Zone, fifth is like Ice Cap (it even starts with a skiing sequence as well), and the last level is rather like Launch Base (and ends up being on the villain's ship)? They're also made up of three acts including boss battles. I know the game is related by company so it probably got a lot of its ideas from Sonic 3, but wasn't sure whether to say this or not as I don't know for sure.Birdzofafeather 18:11, July 6, 2010 (UTC)
- They were both made by Sonic Team, but I'd hold off on adding that unless you can find any references to support the idea. -- Supermorff 18:37, July 6, 2010 (UTC)
How did they put all the old games in one disk? Sonicfan919 18:35, December 5, 2010 (UTC)
Quite easily, those game use simple graphics and music (by today's standard), so they take up little memory. Myself 123 18:38, December 5, 2010 (UTC)
I mean did they take the data and put it on the disk because I want to do something like this for all the mobile games. (Sonic Cafe and Sega Mobile games) Sonicfan919 18:50, December 5, 2010 (UTC)
I really want to unlock Ristar on this game, but I'm afraid that will take a while. I forgot how many times you have to play the games though, but so far all I unlocked was Flicky (not a bad game if you ask me). Wqual (talk) 23:17, October 29, 2013 (UTC)Wqual
A Quick Comment
As I've played this game, and I think it's quite nice, but there are apparently problems, most of it because they didn't know how to program well for the PS2, so there are some mistakes. Please tell me if you have encountered them, but I already know the glitch in S3K where, if you using Knuckles, enter the sound test, and select Death Egg, you can do it. (I recommend doing it in act 2, since he can't reach the mini boss in act 1).
