Problem with Monobook

Updated with new information
I have a list of suggestions for the Sonic News Network home page.
- Add a file, user, edit, admin, and bot count.
- Add an Admin Center page for where admins and mods can ask questions, read tutorials, etc.
- Move the poll template to the right column
Those are the suggestions I have so far, and please take them into consideration.

Wikipedia character articles
Hey,
I'm a Wikipedia editor known there as "Tezero". I came here to alert you all that a number of Sonic character articles are going to be merged to their character list article very soon. I created all of the current character articles except Sonic, Tails, Eggman, Knuckles, Rouge, Amy, Shadow, and the list, and I tried to fight this off as the rationale for merging them seems unfairly out of line with Wikipedia's official policy on notability - well, when users aren't just voting based on what they think of the characters, anyway. I'm not the only one who tried to fend it off, but nevertheless it's happening. The most burning part is that the discussion closed right after someone else and I detailed why a decision to merge is at odds with policy with explicit references to the exact wording, almost as though the administrators were scared.
Affected articles are all of those with a "merge" banner at the top except Chao - for example, Cream and Blaze. The reason I bring this up is that you may want information in their Reception sections (or elsewhere, as the case may be).
I really am getting sick of the atmosphere over there and, who knows, may punch out a few edits on the Sonic Wiki myself. Less than One (talk) 19:35, May 20, 2014 (UTC)
