This robot is not named in the episode, but I'm pretty sure the description is referring to this robot from the episode "Sonic Boom". -- Supermorff (talk) 19:09, April 5, 2019 (UTC)
- No. It is referring to the system control robots in this episode. And I have analyzed the transcript of that episode: there is no mention of a term called "Trackbot".Ultrasonic9000 (talk) 19:30, April 5, 2019 (UTC)
- I do not understand how your comment contradicts my comment, and therefore why you prefaced your comment with "No." -- Supermorff (talk) 17:35, April 7, 2019 (UTC)
- My point is that what the "Trackbot" article describes is the system control robots that appear in No Brainer, not the Swat-bot/Hover Unit hybrid you are referring to. I have also been through the episode, and have heard no mention of the term "Trackbot".Ultrasonic9000 (talk) 17:42, April 7, 2019 (UTC)
- Ah, I see, these ones? Ok, fine. But then we've established that they do exist in an episode. It doesn't have an official name, so just give the page a descriptive title instead, which is what happens with other things without official names. (And that yellow base robot from "Sonic Boom" looks similar to a Hover Unit but clearly isn't because it doesn't hover, so I'm not sure how it came to be described as a Swatbot/Hover Unit hybrid. That makes no sense.) -- Supermorff (talk) 19:38, April 7, 2019 (UTC)
- But we don't necessarily make an article on all the background characters. We usually draw a distinction when there is no term for it.Ultrasonic9000 (talk) 19:59, April 7, 2019 (UTC)
- Blimey, really? Since when? -- Supermorff (talk) 14:46, April 12, 2019 (UTC)
- Well, this is nothing that has been written down or is a declared rule, but people have been insisting that we limit ourselves in regards to unnecessary subjects: For example, I wanted to write about many subjects from the Sonic Boom series, like "Hello Doggie" from "Tails' Crush" but people decided that this was unnecessary information because it played such a minor role.Ultrasonic9000 (talk) 15:26, April 12, 2019 (UTC)
- Ok, fair enough. To me that seems to defeat the point of a comprehensive wiki, but of course I am rarely here any more. I'd argue that, even if you draw a line at "Hello Doggie", creating a page for a type of robot that Robotnik uses in one of the old Sonic continuities is probably still ok, but I'll not raise the matter any more. -- Supermorff (talk) 11:14, April 13, 2019 (UTC)
