Doesn't Cyan wisp looks a bit like the Pokemon Rotom when normal?--Mystic Monkey sez 00:43, June 26, 2010 (UTC)

yes, a little, and also looks like a chaoLukethehedgehog 22:54, October 2, 2010 (UTC)
What about the purple wisp, looks like and sounds like a way to bring in Dark Sonic (a less powerful version of Dark Sonic anyway). Vae Infectus 02:07, October 12, 2010 (UTC)
Sprites?[]
Something's just come to mind. Exactly how do we have sprites for the Wii-exclusive Wisps, and how are they the same quality as the DS-exclusive Wisp sprites?--Kagimizu-Seeya 'round 16:26, October 8, 2010 (UTC)
They were taken from the Japanese website.Sonic & Scrab Master Kongosoha! 17:02, October 8, 2010 (UTC)

pixls and pokemon?[]
I think 2 things, and I'm going to put on the section trivia:
- the wisps resemble the pixls from Super Paper Mario: they are both flying creatures that grant the character a special ability
- The cyan wisp looks like the pokemon rotom when normal(mystic monkey said that)
I think they must be in the trivia sectionLukethehedgehog 16:48, October 12, 2010 (UTC)
I don't think it's necessary to be honest. Myself 123 16:50, October 12, 2010 (UTC)
why? --Lukethehedgehog 18:12, November 21, 2010 (UTC)
Should it be added that they all have the same basic structure? A head with three tentacles stick out at the bottom.
no, because some other wisp doesn´t have that structure, like the purple, violet and cyan. Lukethehedgehog 18:35, October 26, 2010 (UTC)
Not to sound too pokemony but I do wonder if Wisps do have a metamorphic nature, white wisps being the larval "prototype" state of coloured wisps. It's just a theory inspired by the Nega Wisps which makes me wonder who were the Purple and Violet wisps before Eggman abused them.--Mystic Monkey sez 16:54, November 16, 2010 (UTC)
I did find some cutscenes on Youtube, and during the Final cutscene, the Nega Wisps turn back into white wisps, -- Temporal the Fox 16:59, November 16, 2010 (UTC)
- I been too distracted by the NDS version to progres on the Wii version. ;^^ But this support my theory a bit.--Mystic Monkey sez 22:18, November 17, 2010 (UTC)
- No: look at this:
in around the minute 2:50, Yaker changes the dark wisps into EVERY type of wisps. ----Lukethehedgehog 12:57, November 21, 2010 (UTC)
- Hm, both Purple and Violet Wisps bringing both versions canon together. Well this mean the Nega-Wisps are an enforced mutation kinda morph than the natual kind of morphing White Wisps might go through to change to another colour. How Yacker manage to change them back I dunno. Maybe the curl on it's head mean's that Yacker is a Prince/cess Wisp that will eventually become a parental Wisp. Simular to bee's or ants.--Mystic Monkey sez 15:50, November 29, 2010 (UTC)
I put what you said Here --Lukethehedgehog 00:45, December 12, 2010 (UTC) ¡Merry Christmas!
does ANYONE realize the question mark (?) wisp capsule in gameland equals some creepy eggman head shooting hearts at you for a period of time? I was wodnering where to add it, here or gameland... Tails6000 (THE RED TEAM MARCHES ON!!!!) 02:09, January 7, 2011 (UTC)
Cuddle[]
It's probably just me, but anyone else curious what Wisps feel like? Like are they soft, squidgy, have thin or fine fur, or maybe they are made entirely from Hyper-go-on and no one can physically touch them and they can enter or pass through organics.--Mystic Monkey is a proud MonoBook Wikian. 16:29, June 10, 2012 (UTC)
I would think they're touchable because Sonic high fives some of them in the opening video for the game. I would assum the would feel like human skin. Meh. ★Jake the Hedgehog The Ultimate Apprentice★ 16:35, June 10, 2012 (UTC)
- Seeing the first cutscene again where Sonic rescues Yacker and his friend, yeah, they can be handled. I always pressumed they were softer thna human skin. Not to sound creepy about it, just they do look a bit jelly-fish like but not as dangerous as jelly fish. So my guess they would be soft and squidgy like, even lacking skeleton.--Mystic Monkey is a proud MonoBook Wikian. 16:38, June 10, 2012 (UTC)
- That would make sense, except for certain wisps like the cube or spike wisps. Without bones, i don't think they'd look the way they do. It would apply for the white, red, orange, green, and violet wisps at most. ★Jake the Hedgehog The Ultimate Apprentice★ 16:43, June 10, 2012 (UTC)
- Well in quantum physics sense, maybe while we and Sonic can see them, wisps could exist on an alternate dimension where they escape limits like gravity and that there biology is a fusion of energy (hyper-go-on) and matter. Kind of like ghosts but in a sense organic. This way they are able to be part of Sonic's energy (which I pressume by his aura) and transform him this way.--Mystic Monkey is a proud MonoBook Wikian. 16:54, June 10, 2012 (UTC)
- Then again, if they had bones, where would they go when they fused with Sonic? Bones don't just disapear; they would have to be broken down into more Hyper- Go- Ons i guess. So they probly don't have bones either. ★Jake the Hedgehog The Ultimate Apprentice★ 18:22, June 10, 2012 (UTC)
- Yep. As a believer in ghosts, I wouldn't say Wisps are alien ghosts but have a sort of semi-organic biology simular to ghosts that allows them to be physical or be able to transfer themselves as bio-electricity. I am stlill curious to what one feels like though.--Mystic Monkey is a proud MonoBook Wikian. 19:00, June 10, 2012 (UTC)

- At this point, i would think they feel like some sort of aquatic animal like an ocotpus or jellyfish as you said. ★Jake the Hedgehog The Ultimate Apprentice★ 19:12, June 10, 2012 (UTC)
- I would like to cuddle one, which I can't say for the same for an actual jellyfish. Octopus maybe.--Mystic Monkey is a proud MonoBook Wikian. 19:30, June 10, 2012 (UTC)

New Wisp in Lost World?[]
Does anyone know the name of the new Wisp that appears in Sonic Lost World?
- I think it's either purple, violet or a shade of purple we have yet to know. Eitherway the purple and violet wisps we know about are forced mutations caused by Dr. Eggman and known as Nega-Wisp so the purple wisps in Lost World could be genuine purple wisps from Planet Wisp. I am curious when the new wisp will be added to the list.--Mystic Monkey SNN Administrator in active since 2009. 💬 📚 📝 13:20, June 13, 2013 (UTC)
There is a cyan wisp in the trailer at 50 seconds

I wonder if the Wisps will return in Sonic Boom because Sega said that the Wisps are going to be mostly in the francise -Eggmanlandgamer3
Okay, I just finished playing Lost World...
Is there any reason the Wisps are there? I don't think I saw anything regarding that in the game, unless I'm mistaken. TIME TO MAKE SOME NOISE! - Blitz 23:40, June 12, 2014 (UTC)
