I, the Scholastic Gladiator, AKA Platinum the Hedgehog, would deem such a noxiously enjoyable stage with such a thrilling boss worthy of the title "Egg Foundry Zone". A prestigous title, yes? If you ask me, I'd call it something like "Poison Corruption Zone".

- As for my theory, I think Solaris would've eventurally tried to re-write history from the get go, and since Solaris is a type of god, may have tried some whacky thing with the other gods (Chaos, Chip,Dark Gaia, etc.) in an attempt to perform a sort of ritual, to stop something from happening that would leave everything far more destroyed than Crisis City. I feel that we didn't know all of Mephiles' story, morals, intent, etc., and that he, and the others have something up their sleeves, err...Rather, whatever they're made of. I think there's a reason we've got so many 'God'-esque characters, and have see some old hieroglyphics, in a sort. I think Sega's had something big in mind from the get-go. If Sonic and Silver didn't save Solaris then I don't think there'd be much to worry about. Shadow would just use Chaos Control and go back in time to stop the thing from happening. Nothing is for sure... (that's what Sonic would say). Just Kidding. I think that Shadow and Silver would have tried to defeat Solaris by themselves. They would defeat those other two forms but leave one form alive(present) because Sonic would be dead. The Present would resurrect the others and continuously fight with the super powered hedgehogs till they lost every ounce of energy left. Oh and the next one is by observation: Amy would go through a mental breakdown till she was 40 and then go through a mid life crisis.
The battle would go almost the same but Amy would take Sonic's place beiving that Sonic would want that. Afterwards due to the time thing none of this would have happened and everyone would go back to the way they where right before the begening of the game.
Okay, person above. Amy would try to fight instead of Sonic but there is no way every one else would let her. And besides, Amy doesn't have a super transformation. And about the actual question, based on what Doc Egghead said, time itself would be sucked into oblivion...Wait a sec, that's almost a direct quote! LeahTheCat
Fine then make it Tails replacing Sonic or Knuckles. They both have canon super-forms (and besides Amy doesn't need a Super Form Tails and Knuckles didn't use one in Heroes, Sonic just empowered them.) and "everyone" wouldn't mind them fighting. The idea that Sonic is the only one who can save time is a joke. Someone whether thats Tails, Knuckles, Amy, or anyone else someone can and will take his place. Neosamuel

I think the team would utilize the chaos emeralds to power the remaining two hedgies, reseal Solaris back to Elise, and use her "special abilities" to chaos control themeselves the heck outta that dimension. Tails, simply because he would be diffrent enoth from the other characters to be worthwile. Shadow would be Sonic with Chaos Powers, Amy would be the same just replace chaos powers with her hammer, and Knuckles... I wouldn't mind him but I think Tails would be the more likly choice. I say Tails, because he can fly and is a really great playable character in Sonic games. Sonic 2, all those other games from that time, SADX, Sonic Battle... The only problem would be w/ his English voice because we'd hear lots of complaints from the fans, and I would cringe if he said something while attacking or getting hurt. Amy would be cool, but then again I see Tails haveing a more unquie moveset (Amy would probibly be Sonic with a hammer.)
