Temple Trouble is a track that appears in Sonic & All-Stars Racing Transformed that represents Super Monkey Ball. The track has a Super Monkey Ball-style checkered ground pattern and water caves where players have to use boat-style gameplay.
Starting at a downhill river, the track has a checkerboard style ground pattern and strange colored parts which warn racers about dangerous places or routes. Monkey Balls will try to interfere or interrupt the player by rolling from side to side, which causes the player to slow down on contact, and there are statues that stomp on racers. There is a short cut noticable, when the player has the opportunity to choose which of the two checkerboard style ground patterned paths he/she will take, one being a much more faster path than the other. Unlike Dragon Canyon and other tracks, racers not only drive across both land and water, but Temple Trouble has its racers descending all the way to a flooded temple that contains a whirlpool, a nod to Lost World, as it warps them back to the starting line.
Trivia
This was the first level (alongside Dragon Canyon) to be revealed for the game.
Adder's Lair and this track starting lane is on water.
The entire track seems to slope downwards, which may refrence the Super Monkey Ball series.
The Dreamcast swirl can be seen on the walls inside of the temple at the end of the track, as well as the wall around the finish line.
