The Temptation (テンプティション Tenputishon?) is a recurring Board type Extreme Gear in the Sonic Riders series. It is Rouge the Bat's character Extreme Gear, exclusively for her, meaning only she can use it, and her default Extreme Gear. It is obtained in all games when unlocking Rouge as a playable character.

The Temptation first appeared in Sonic Riders, where it was built by Robotnik Corp., especially for women like Rouge. It is designed as a white and lavender board with cyan-bordered pink hearts, acting as foot pads, on a black plate.

Sonic Riders: Zero GravityEdit

The Temptation later reappeared in Sonic Riders: Zero Gravity, where it in this game was created by Accevice Corp and designed for women. Rouge herself emblazed the Temptation with hearts, adding her own personal touch to it.
The Temptation received a small design change in Sonic Riders: Zero Gravity. Unlike in Sonic Riders, the Temptation was made a little more bulkier, with the front and rear having been made thicker, whlie the midsection remained relatively less broad in comparison. It retained its primary white coloring with a black plate and had pink heart decorations on its upper surface as it had in Sonic Riders.

Gear PartsEdit
- Max Speed UP: Increases the Temptation's top speed.
- Air Ride: Turns the Temptation into an Air Ride type Extreme Gear, allowing it to glide through the air and Dash Rings.
- GP Gauge UP: Increases the Temptation's GP gauge by 25 points.
Sonic Free RidersEdit

The Temptation reappeared once more in Sonic Free Riders, where it this time was produced by Accelovice as an Extreme gear for ladies. Rouge herself custom ordered the Temptation to have its trademark heart insignias embedded on it.
In Sonic Free Riders, the Temptation's design returned to having a shape similar to the one it had in Sonic Riders. Also, like in Sonic Riders: Zero Gravity, the Temptation remained a primarily white colored Extreme Gear, with pink heart symbols like those it had in Sonic Riders, but on a black plate with a yellow field in front and white lines along the borders.
